Simple Lumiere Stamped Wedding Card

A simple wedding card that I made for my Nana & Papa to give to a special couple. I embossed the Doodle This flower in white embossing powder and painted it in pearl white Lumiere. The centers are punched from vellum. The background on the card is Baroque Motifs. It's stamped with lumiere (which was brayered onto the stamp) and the Lumiere is embossed with clear embossing powder. (Tutorial on lumiere stamping here.)

I took a photo in the sun, so you could see the shimmer:

I love the way Lumiere sparkles.

The phrase "Happy Together" is made from a combination of sets: Happy from 'happy birthday' in Warmest Regards & "Together" from Happy Everything. The silver frame & brads are from the Hodge Podge hardware set. The brads are folded so that they are hidden by the frame but they don't go through the card. (That'd be mighty messy for a wedding card, hmm?) It's adhered with double-sided tape.

I put this in a shimmery envelope. I had 4 saved. (I don't know why on earth Stampin' Up! discontinued them; maybe they didn't sell?) Anywho, it's sparkly, and the crow side of me loves that!

Hope your day is just the way you want it, :0)

This is very lovely, though I expect nothing less. :-)
There is something very elegant with monochromatic cards, don't you think?
Guess what?? I'm so excited. This weekend I have to go to TO for a conference on Saturday. I'm going to leave alittle early so I can make a stop on my way. Can you guess where? Stamping Bella of course!!! I can't wait till Saturday!! What is your favourite Bella?
