Flowers for Mother's Day! (digital image & paper freebies)

Mothers Day flowers Paper Temptress

Happy Mother's Day!

I thought a couple of my doodled digital images & papers might make a nice little present for all you Moms & for you non-Moms too (like me). (I had technical difficulties so it took a while.) Hopefully you can have some fun with these! :O)

DIGI PAPERS (that I used on this card) :O)

-1-
SMALL flower digital image:
(two flowers & a bud)
-2-
SMALL digital paper:
(measures 3 1/2 inches x 4 1/2 inches)

-3-
SMALL flower digital paper
(more flowers along bottom of paper)

Paper Temptress Papers & Digi printing:

Main card: Stunning rich black Velvet Touch cardstock Main flower image: Digi number 1 printed on Stardreams Crystal cardstock sealed with spray sealant (Krylon Matte) and coloured with Copic markers & watercolour pencils. Top cream coloured patterned paper: Digi number 2 printed on Whipcream Pop Tones cardstock and coloured with turquoise pencil Bottom Kraft coloured patterned paper: Digi number 3 printed on Kraft cardstock and coloured with white & turquoise watercolour pencil crayon. Dotted with metallic silver Zig Painty pen

Strip of textured paper is made by:

A) inking up glossy cardstock (very wet pale turquoise)
B) covering it in entirely in clear embossing powder
C) pulling some up with a wooden batik block
D) Heating embossing powder entirely
E) Reinking with Walnut ink & wiping off excess
F) Sanding

Stitching is done using a faux sewing machine stitch method. Tutorial here.

LARGE JPG versions:
(for you to print large or
resize on your own, if you like) :O)

Edited to add: Just a quick note to let you know that I need to take a short blog break to catch my breath, literally LOL. I just need a couple-few days to rest & get caught up. I'm having a lot of trouble breathing (nothing emergency-wise just really bad asthma & dry coughing, so please don't worry.) I'm hoping a rest will fix me up. OXO mel

Hi Mel,
your card is beautiful, like always! I really love your works...

I have, however, one question regarding the copyright of the flowers (as I just opened up my first blog and do not want to hurt anybody's rights...): does "mechanical reproduction" include the print out and use the flowers on a card... and publishment on a blog? I hope this question is not too uuummm stupid... thanks for your reply!

I hope you'll be better soon. My son has asthma, too, so I can imagine how bad it is if you have problems with breathing...

Sending you hugs again from Germany!

Gabriele

Thank you for the lovely digi stamps.
What a good idea you came across, when you cut out parts of a card that had been embossed and then added patterned paper behind. You have a great blog and I visit often as I love my Cuttlebug too!
