sorry no posts for a while

Hi All,

What a heartbreak it is for me to be missing posting & chatting with you all for so long. I have been too sick to even get to the computer. It's a combination of chronic respiratory & sinus infection and migraines, etc... that has all gotten unbearable. I think it must be a result of the mold exposure I experienced for so long. Those of you who've known me for a while know that this has gone on for far too long. It's getting a tad old, by now!

I'm finally seeing a Naturopath this Tuesday, since mainstream medicine has no answers for me, yet. I'm hoping that I can learn things to help me work on getting much better and be back sharing things with you again very soon.

I miss you more than I can say!

  8. Make sure you go through your house and get ALL the mold out. Check your toilet tanks, your bathtub and sink drains and overflows. Mold hides there and we don't even think about it. Then there are house plants. Check your crawl space and attic as well. My daughter had an awful problem, sick for months and then they found black mold in the attic of the apartment they were in. Now, all it takes it a little mold on something like a peach and she starts to get sick. I feel for you Mel and pray for your speedy recovery.

  14. oh poor Mel... I`ve been reading your website for quite a while now and read too often that you`re not well.
I had the same problem and I know that it's really annoying if you think: "now its getting better and I can make everything I want to again" and then... you're sick again.

I wish you a soon recovery and a doctor who knows how to help you...
I am convinced that a huge part of the bloggers/ cardmaking/ paper crafting world is thinking of you. :)

    Take care!

  23. Hi Mel -

You do what you need to honey. As someone who suffers from chronic sinus infections, bronchitis and once in a while, migraines, I fully understand. The constant coughing, stuffiness, nose blowing and general feeling crappy, really does get you down and it never seems to end. For me it starts when there is an extreme change in the temperature. Has gotten so bad, I've developed asthma now. So, dear girl, you need to do what you can to take care of yourself.

Get well soon!!!

  31. Hi Mel,
I'm so sorry that you are suffering with so much pain. I hope you are able to find some relief soon. Have you had your head scanned (migranes)? A few years ago I suffered from terrible headaches for months at a time; then one day I got the worst head explosion of my life & it sent me to the ER. The doctors found a brain aneurysm that ruptured. My headaches were caused by the aneurysm which lead up to the actual rupture. Anyway, I tell everyone I know to get an MRI or CAT scan if they have constant headaches. We will miss you but your health is our priority too! Take care..Vina

  61. Have you seen a pulmonologist that specilizes in critical care? They are the only reason I'm still her, I always suffered as you do from those things then when I was referred I found I had poor lung function due to my arts, hobbies, and all of the rest, my lungs, bronchial tubes and sinuses were damaged. I'm on meds and an oxygen machine now and I am limited but I have not suffered the way I did for SO many years SO SICK. You might want to look into it and God Bless.
