A simple little card...
...made using 2 of the patterned papers that were in Monday's post.
I used the grey outline dot paper (and coloured some of the dots with these copic markers: R-35, RV-29, RV-13, R-00, W-3, Y-02, YG-00. Next time I might use pencil crayons instead, since it was tricky to stay in the lines.
The {happy day!} sentiment is
I stuck the white & clear sticker on black cardstock and
framed it with itty-bitty flowers from a Fiskar's scallop flower punch:
Here's the inside of the card (A2 size)
& the envelope:
(The striped paper is the blue raspberry in the random subtle stripe below & the coloured pattern strips are just cut off the cover of this Crate Paper Paper Heart 6x6 pack).
And here are those 3 paper sets:
These are high resolution PNGs (at 350dpi)
They measure 12 and a half inches square,
but they print nicely on standard sized paper too.
Funny thing is these subtle papers may not look like much at first, but
surprise surprise, they're the ones I ended up wanting to use the very most.
And perhaps the biggest perk? They use hardly any printer ink!

Only YOU would be this creative and patient to pick up the tiny flowers from the border punch!
ReplyDeleteLove your papers and your card!
Thank You so much!!
Love your paper. I ended up here via pintrest. I am having a problem with the blue raspberry subtle tiny graph paper. It will not let me save.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the freebies!!!
Mel... First, let me say I love all your work and that you share it with everyone. That's very generous and kind of you.
ReplyDeleteSecond... what's going on with your blog posts? Are you aware of a problem. I'm a 'follower' in google reader, and I've gotten multiple announcements that you have a new post.... but it shows up as "title unknown" and there is nothing - no words - after that title. Then when I click on it, I get message that the post is not found. So I've been occasionally checking your blog directly (NOT going through google) and THIS post is the "newest one shown on your home page every time!... Have you been trying to do new posts since this one, or am I just getting wrong messages from google?
Hope to see new posts soon :)
Good gracious, I would go blind with all that ittty-bitty work you do! Great card as always...love it!
ReplyDeleteHi Mel, I have also been receiving some empty "Title unknown" messages in my blog list. I do hope you're allright and not going through one of your nasty migraine spells again. Take care!
ReplyDeleteHi, I am having the same problem as Paula. This is the latest post and I keep getting Untitled Posts from your blog on my Google Reader?? Hope all is well :0
ReplyDeletethanks a lot )))
ReplyDeleteHi Mel, I haven't seen any new posts for a while and I hope that it's because you are on a wonderful vacation and not because you are unwell. Take care!
ReplyDeleteHi ! awesome blog. Thanks for sharing many ideas.
