Precariousness...
Many apologies for another long absence, friends. Things have been very precarious around here and unfortunately blogging has been the last thing on my mind. My brother was in a major car accident and he fractured one of the vertebrae in his spine. We are so lucky that he lived through the accident and is not paralyzed; it was very close. (He went off of a hundred foot embankment on a logging road). Blessed is the word, beyond doubt.
I just came back from Kelowna where I was helping him out with everything. I had no computer access while I was up there, but I'll be keeping him company down here at home, when he's transferred down to the Lower Mainland soon...
So long story short, our family has so much more to be grateful this year at Thanksgiving. I hope to get back to light blogging soon. I'm so very very grateful for your patience and kind words while I've been away.
Much love,
Many prayers for your brother! Family always comes first. I'm just glad that you aren't sick.

ReplyDeleteSending prayers for your brother...
You're right - life is precarious. My brother has also just survived a fall of 60m. A miracle that he was stopped by a tree and that there was even a ledge to fall on. He has made an amazing recovery (fractured hip - but he is up and walking - just his neck that is still painful). I will hold your brother and family in my prayers.
ReplyDeleteGod bless you and sincere wishes for speedy recovery of your brother.
