Have you found the downloading process to be just a tad tedious around here?
In the past, it was a one-by-one thing & I got a lot of requests to make it easier...
...It took a while, but I think I've finally fixed it!!!
That means you'll see more free paper sets here - in zip files that you can download all at once, with only a click or two. There are 51 colours (in two zip files). And also an overlay for those of you who may want to make your own customized shades of paper.
Plus a New Size: The sets will also be in a new smaller letter size: 8.5 x 11 inches at 300 dpi, which should be a perfect fit for custom patterns in Silhouette machines & for PDF making (for use on teacherspayteachers) and for printing easily on standard printers.

This digital work is offered up for free, but mainly for personal use or handmade sale items only.
Please do not use these to make digital papers or kits for sale, nor mass produced items.

A while back I made this Moroccan tile set to try & get a more sketchy artsy look...
It's monochromatic & has a kind of spritzed stencil or ink sprayed look and "pencil lines":
If you like this pattern, you can
download the whole set in 2 zip files:
&
Letter size (8.5 x 11 inches):
1-25_moroccan_tile_spritzed_stencil_letter.zip
&
26-51_moroccan_tile_spritzed_stencil_letter.zip

(Downloads make take a couple-few minutes since file sizes for printing are big.)
Need help downloading from google docs?
You'll find pointers here.

Want to make your own custom colours?
The overlay (or digital stencil) is here:The overlay is also here on flickr
There is a tutorial here on how to use overlays in Gimp
or
how to use overlays in Photoshop here.

And here are some of the individual paper colours
in case you just want to download just one or two...
my ultimate all-time fave has a sheer look
with an antique graph showing through.
Here's an idea of what it looks like printed:
It appeals to me because even though it's a digital pattern, the graph shows through
the white Moroccan tile shapes and so they look as though they were stamped!
This 8.5 x 11 paper has no pencil outline
(shown printed above):
