Hey Guys! Thought I'd ease on into the swing of things again by sharing a simple card I made a little while back. Just something ultra CAS. You can never have too many quick 'Thank You' cards, right?
I might have to make a couple-few more of these to get the card supply numbers back up. Case myself to give that old mojo mouth-to-mouth! (Wait, that sounds a little like a Jame's Brown song: "Jump Back! I wanna case myself!" ... Super bad, sorry. lol). The old crafty inspiration does need a little resuscitation-love though. ;)
Anywho, this is the schtuff I used to make the card, in case you're curious:
It's heat embossed in clear embossing powder on thin cold-pressed watercolour paper & painted with these paints Zig Kuretake Gansai Tambi:
The die is Mama Elephant's Thanks Script (cut out of black cardstock and layered) & I used a Copic Multiliner to sketch a black border around the floral piece.
The envelope is from Papertrey Ink & it's lined with book paper cut using with my new all time die fave, their A2 envelope liner:
Easy as 1-2-3! ...Happy Creating,
P.S. As always, I'm not affiliated with these merchants. Just stuff I bought for the hoard.
Oh my goodness, Mel -- this is lovely. I can see changing the sentiment for a sympathy card or almost any occasion. I love it - thanks for the inspiration!
