Finally, I made a relatively quick project!
This long low & lean box came together in a jiffy.

- Preview of the new LPS set {Butterflies}
- Making a beaded flower strip
The simplicity of the petal shapes means it was a piece of cake to cut too (and shape into those 3D flowers up there.) It's the sweetest size not too small so it's no fuss to cut, but little enough to use as frames or on cards, boxes, or pages. I wanna make a gazillion wee primas with it! :O) (Oh and the butterfly too, of course!) ;o)...
Sticking this flourished little butterfly on a wire seemed like
a speedy way to do something kinda snifty.
a speedy way to do something kinda snifty.
- Flower stamp
- Watercolour paper
- Embossing ink & Clear embossing powder
- Seed beads
- Glitter
- Paper piercer
- Needle & thread
- Double-sided tape
(measures 3.5 inches tall by 8 inches)
1) Take a piece of standard cardstock (8.5 x 11 inches)
2) While paper is horizontal (short), score at 1.5 and 9.5
3) Turn so paper is vertical (tall), score at 3.5 and 4.5
4) Snip 4 little spots to make the flaps & adhere
Step 1) Emboss a strip of flowers (acrylic lets you see to stamp em close together)
Step 2) Cut them out. No need to be precise (it can be shabby chic, hehehe)
Step 3) Add a bit of Crystal Lacquer to the centers
Step 4) Sprinkle beads on the lacquer
Step 5) Add extra beads if needed
Step 6) Move beads into center with any tool to even out placement
to make the stitched garden...
Step 7) Stamp & cut separate flowers. Adhere them where you'd like them & pierce stems
Step 8) Stitch stems.....and.....Step 9) Put it altogether
Hope your crafting is a blast,
I agree with you, this is a must have. It is cute and beautiful. Your tutorial is great, as always:O)
