Happy Halloween weekend
to those who celebrate it!
And please don't faint on me, but it's
another blog post! (I'm so grateful to be getting better
and wanted to try to squeeze in a couple more Halloween
thingers to share with ya.)
This one's a crow card...

This one's a crow card...
... made with on of these:
High Resolution Crow labels (300 dpi)
(The one with the sky) printed out & then
heat embossed:
...in clear embossing powder with that Funky I.O. background stamp
again, and tinted around the edges with Milled Lavender Distress
Ink and a Mauve Shadow Copic marker BV00.)
The purple paper on the top is a dictionary page that was also
tinted with Milled Lavender Distress Ink:
The faux window was cut with Spellbinders Nestabilities die Labels 5
& edged with a fine White Sharpie poster paint pen (review by Margaret here).
I picked one up & am really starting to enjoy using it.
It's archival & non-toxic and water-based. Goes onto paper quite smoothly.)
Have you tried it out?

Anywho, the labels started out as this photo of a crow...
...that I took at our community garden this summer.
Tweaked to make this plain label frame:
Original size of the empty label here on Flickr,
in case you'd like to use it. (Please link Karen's post, if you do). :o)
...It's coupled with the crow from the photo
and a branch I doodled to get this:
Then I filled with miscellaneous stuff to make these...
