{The Beauty of Nature} Last LPS Sneak Peak!

Tomorrow is the Big day for the Little Paper Shop release! :O)

This is a sneaky peaky of one of the two birds in the new Little Paper Shop set {The Beauty of Nature.} Love those little guys; I can't wait to make a set of cards with 'em as a gift for my Papa (who really loves birds.) First, I had to get some floweriness out of my system though!

This may be my first post in eons with no tutorial (it hurts not to blabber on about stuff) but I feel unnaturally bleh, lol. :O)

This sweet sentiment is in the set too, along with some other great ones. (Love that font so much!) This phrase fits perfectly in SU's 1 1/4 inch punch!

Here, it's embossed with Not Quite Navy & clear embossing powder;
added to a matching 1 3/4 " circle, a scallop, & with little embroidery thread knots.

Other card ingredients:
Pearlescent paints
(Thank You Annapurna You angel You!!!) & CTMH markers to colour the bird Patterned paper: To stamp the bird on: Cosmo Cricket, Fleuriste-Vineyard; brown DP: Sweetwater Cotton Candy #BJ5; Sentiment stamped on BasicGrey Frutcake Jubilee/spearmint FRU-609. SU cardstock: Baja Breeze & Chocolate Chip; Green & brown mbroidery thread.

Flowers:
Water Swirl stamp (a mystery ebay source sorry) embossed with turquoise-tinted Versamark (homemade) & clear embossing powder. Painted with CTMH markers (White Breeze & Chocolate); Punched with Stampin' Up! punches: Boho Blossoms, 5-petal flower, & spring bouquet & a Martha Stewart cornflower punch too. The centers are stitched with double knots of brown embroidery thread.

Hope your day is craftilicious! :O)

U did it, U did it, U did it!!! :-)

Love the bird and all the details on it. The card looks very antique. That means it is expensive right?

You are very welcome. I am glad you are getting some use out of them.

I totally agree with Paula from Paula's Ponderings. Hope you feel better soon.
