Hi There!

In this post....an update and an old link list for ribbon ideas that I had mostly saved as a draft (no time to stamp) :O( *WEEP!*

The update: I've been missing You all like crazy! Your kind thoughts have been such a boon in my quest to remedy my health issues, and some big-time housing issues to boot. Thank You for being so very very wonderful!

Everything is looking WAY up. We've found a new healthier home, where I look forward to less of these debilitating headaches, getting my energy back, & breathing properly again. (I've been worrying that it's been the damp'n'dank basement suite we live in. I'm terribly allergic to musty schtuffs.) Soooh, I'll be packing for the rest of the year, LOL (Boy, do we have oodles of stuff!) but I'll also posting as often as I can, 'cause man oh man do I ever miss Yous!

Our new place is so bright and lovely (no more Hobbit hole for us, LOL.) It even has a...... (drum roll please)...........Stamp Room!!!!! My very first one! :O)!!!!! <--- [those exclamation points are symbolic of me jumping up and down ecstatically (and performing the funky dance of JOY!) Only I have a few more curves and wobbly bits than an exclamation point (which is why the free gym at the new condo is a great perk too! hehehe)]

I can't thank you enough for your patience and support. To all of you who celebrate Christmas or any Holiday or any Tradition this time of year (and to those that don't, too!) I hope your days are brimming with love and laughter and warmth of spirit.

Much Love,
:O)
Mel

Hi Mel, glad you are taking things in your hands and getting better!! While packing is no fun, you'll get a new start :)
Just the other day I stumbled upon a great ribbon storage solution by Nicole, may want to add that to your terrific list!

happy holidays!!

I'm positive you will feel better when you get away from the mustiness which likely is mold. My sister had the same problem with black mold in her house and it caused her to have serious illnesses for 4 years. She had bronchitis, pneumonia, croup, you name it. Infections constantly. She was too sick to work. She moved and had NO more since. Happy to hear you'll have a stamp room too!

So happy for you. You will love having a dedicated space for your craftiness. The best part of a separate room? You can make a big ol' mess and if you're not done with a project you can close the door and no one has to see the mess until the project is done. The healthier home is great too. I made a similar move a few years ago.

Oh Mel! I'm so excited for your and Charles's new home!!!! And I can't wait (no pressure, though) to see pics, especially of your craft room! That is so wonderful!
I will surely be using these ribbon storage tips as my current system just is not working anymore! Thanks for sharing all of these links.
Hope you are feeling better for Christmas!
Hugs,
Catherine

Glad you found a healthier place to live. I worked in a mold infested office for 5 years without know it and it made me very ill. Your will be surprised how well you will feel in about 6 months. It was a gradual recovery for me.
