My name is Mel I am fully hooked on stamping; I have gone one full day without embossing. I can't stop (even when I should be doing something else, lol). So our place is a mess, but Charles is ever-patient (even though I move all of his stuff offa the table, so I have more room to make messes) ;-).
I am gifting quite a few of my projects this year, so I have to be wary of what I'm posting. :-)
The cards pictured here are a selection of the 5 I designed for the stamp-a-stack I hosted just outside of Nanaimo (Lantzville) at The Black Dog Cafe
with the amazing help of Charles's sister the ever-sweet Denise (who lugged GIANT amounts of stuff on the ferry to the Island, even a big ol' rolly toolbox that kept coming open and helped with the insanity of the workshop (even though she never got to finish her own cards). She's THE BEST!
and Esther (my m.i.l: mother in love) She is GLORIOUS too. She helped organize the whole thing, carted lamps (and Denise and I from the ferry), and she was even my M.C.
Chris who runs the Black Dog was great, and her cooking is beyond description, YUmmmmmm.
I hope to get pics of the event, as it was my first one. (Chris took a few). The crafters were an awesome bunch---it was a LOT to take in and we never finished... ;0( --- But they were still fun and patient. I learned a great deal for the next one. and I won't drag the stuff so far this time. ;-)
If you'd like directions and/or a supply list for the cards please email mmmccart@sfu.ca
Thanks for looking, Mel
