A Tree card for Matt's birthday.
We share an affinity for crows, so the embossed murder of them is my favourite part of the card (their from Stampscapes Rubber Stamps.) I was happy to use a different looking background stamp. That, and a bit of sponging. I got this forest stamp from Non Sequitur Art Stamps. Plate number 71 (Winter Solstice).
I used the same stamp to make cards for Dad's birthday (of course, since he's a tree-doctor).
I never pre-make enough "masculine" cards: being obsessed with embossing and cutting out flowers to bead has it's drawbacks.

Card-making at Shea & Adina's Place
Another of the many made while visiting at Shea's; she and Adina were so sweet to put up with the constant mess in their kitchen: Shea even let me stamp right on her unfinished kitchen table! (the saint) ;-)

Fish Card for Jay
Jay, Charles's Dad, has supremely gorgeous fish tanks (and a million randy black mollies). I had no black molly stamp, but I made this in his honour. He's well beyond gold fish; still, he liked it anyway--I'm told.
The water bubbles are 3D (with crystal effects) The smaller fish (seahorses, shells...) are just stickers.
The sea weed is not stamping up, it's a fern pattern I got on ebay done with a stamp'n'write marker...

Flowers for Kimmmmmmy
I made this for Kim (a.k.a. Kinkers: the best of friends); I've started to use more variety in my stamping--out of sheer guilt: from owning hundreds of sets and using the same one again and again!
This is a combination of emboss (flowers) and emboss resist (paisley). It's accented with silver zig painty marker and silver seed beads (glued on with crystal effects.) The flower on the left is in relief.
If it wasn't for Kim, I'd never get any cards made.
She's hosting a card workshop in July, so I better polish my craft. :-)
