Wild Saffron Card

LOVE how designer papers make you get brave with colour!!! These colours are so out of my comfort zone; I need to do that more. I recently found K & Co. stuff. I find it really affordable. This paper was 50 cents (for a 12 x 12.) Granted, it's thin; still, it ended up on 3 layers of card stock so that was fine. It's called "Wild Saffron Green Swirl." The adhesive paper ribbon (brown) and the foil leaf sticker is from K & Co. too (Wild Saffron.) I love how they all match so easily.

The main card is 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" in "Certain Celery." I stamped the circular tag on "Barely Banana" with a stamp from S.U.'s "Merry Mix" jumbo incentive set. Then went over it with "Close to Cocoa" reinker on a sponge dauber. (I think I may add another layer to it (darker brown) so it pops a little more. The 1 inch punched circle that I cut in half for side tabs seems to be taking over...)

Thanks for Stopping by! :0)

Patterned papers sure can be fun and make cards quick. It is totally different paper, but I like it. Nice to see you out of your comfort zone.

I clicked on the photo to check out the leave tag more closely. I adore the little ladybug on it!
