I'm having a blast with this Batik technique. It's so easy. It's just emboss resist with the extra step of ironing. I don't relish ironing clothes, but cards? SURE! Wanted loads of colour for this one. (I've had the lousy ol' blues lately---life...lack of sunlight...) so I thought I'd perk up with a card that's a "little" colourful. There's something so luscious about Purely Pomegranate and nothing packs a colour punch like BasicGrey's Gypsy line--this is "Hippie" (GYP-539.)
Don't know about this layout. (Asymmetry and I are dubious friends at best, but I'm trying to avoid being lazy with layouts, so... sumpin' a little different!)
Hope you're having a great day,
:0) Mel

Beautiful. I love all of the color too.
Hi Mel,
This is a great card. I've never tried this technique before nor have I heard much about it--I'm surprised because this is beautiful.

Gorgeous happy card Mel!
The nasty ol' blues are a worldwide phenomena at the moment. I caught them too all the way down here. Sending you happy hugs, Tracy
Definitely perky colors! Mel, this is gorgeous.
