Been missing you madly, but I haven't had anything to share until now, sorry.
I was without a computer for ages, and I'm slowly getting into the swing of things again. (It didn't turn out that I could take my computer with me to my Aunt's where I was ... since it was the best place for the hospital bed for my brother Drew... while he recuperated from his spinal surgery).
He is doing extremely well. I'm amazed at how strong he is and thankful beyond measure. Life is good. Thank You All, for your kind sweet words and thoughts and prayers. You are the loveliest readers anyone could ever hope to know. You always make me feel so grateful. xox
a sneak peek of some more
(a free digital printable
Christmas paper set)
So, have you seen all the black in Christmas holiday cards out there?
They've made me think "Why not go for it?"
I haven't been able to craft, but I have been working on making you a wee surprise for Christmas. It's my first colourful paper set (and the patterns seem to be, ahem, multiplying like rabbits). ;-)
The colours are non-traditional...
...And most of the patterns are not your prototypical Christmas
(12.5 inch square Christmas Sheet Music
printable paper, here on flickr)
(12.5 inch square Snow dots - Day
printable paper, here on flickr)
(12.5 inch square Snow dots - Midnight
printable paper, here on flickr)
(12.5 inch square Light Cream Knit

(12.5 inch square Stamped Snow Doily

I'll be adding all the papers and variations in different sizes
(A2, 7x7, standard) and in JPG format in the next week,
...but...
You can find the whole set already loaded to flickr
as 12.5" square PNGs (at 350dpi) here:
Wondering how to download these papers?
There's a tutorial showing exactlyhow to download from flickr, here:
(guidelines for use here)
Hope you can have some fun with these papers! I'll try to hurry it up,
so they'll be in time for some Christmas card making! :-)

Mel, so glad to hear from you again. I've really missed you and am so glad to hear your brother is mending nicely. Prayers do work! Thanks for the lovely papers. I guess that means I have to get serious about Christmas cards now.
Mel... thanks a lot. I'm downloading the kit (having some difficulties with Flickr but persisting!). I think I'll might use some for my blog letterhead, or even for some tags as you suggests... I was also thinking to print some to use as traditional paper. Do you have a recommendation on where to print them cost-efficiently? Tks again.
I did use it for my blog header... take a look here: http://winecheesescrapbooking.blogspot.com/2012/11/new-header.html
Tks.
HI Mel! Glad to hear your brother is doing well. The papers are so pretty. THANK YOU so much!!! You are the greatest!

Hi Mel
How brilliant to get a post from you in my email inbox. It seems ages since we've heard from you - glad to hear your brother is doing well, it must have frustrated you (even a little bit) to be without access to a PC. I know it would me anyway.
Thank you for access to all these new files and papers. You are such a generous crafter...
big hugs
Paula x x x
I don't speak english well, but the papers are so fantastic.
You Guys are the BEST! :-) Thanks sooooooh much for liking these.
Myra, probably the best bet for printing cost efficiently is to print just what you need. I've got all of these papers set up as standard letter size, 7x7, or A2 card size in their own galleries in my flickr photostream now. I'll be blogging them any day now to make downloading easier for ya.
If you just need a scrap you can crop an image in almost any software program. If you need help with it, just let me know & I can do a gimp tutorial for you sometime... ( Gimp is like photoshop but free).
If you're printing away from home, then you might want to fit all you can on a letter sized sheet since most places charge by the sheet (as far as I know) :-) Hope it works for you!
Nice to see you back Melissa...and to hear that your brother is doing so well...wonderful news! These papers are gorgeous. I'll be back to DL when I have a bit more time...thank you :)
I am Happy to Hear You are Alright, I am So Glad Your Brother, Drew is Recovering.
The Papers Look Beautiful, as Always!
