I'm sick (and miserable, LOL) but I have new subscribers so I can't stop blogging now! (still find it hard to believe people wanna read this stuff. Thanks so much guys!!) and Charles bought me a new amazing computer that I'm dying to use, so I'm cheating and blogging older cards that never made it on here. :0) This is cased from this lovely card (by "Sencie" on splitcoaststampers.)
I came up with a faux stitched ribbon, (cause I'm a hoardasaurus that loves to save moulah; in other words, I hog stuff and I'm cheap!) It's just a strip of chocolate chip with linen stamped on in "Chocolate Chip" ink and then I faux stitched (paper piercer from the Stampin Up tool kit) and I detailed with a white signo gel pen. The bow is real ribbon. The flowers are punched out with the Stampin Up "Spring Flower Bouquet" punch, then they're stamped and distressed (with centers that are paper punched out) and crystal Effects with dazzling diamonds. The background was one of the happy art accidents. I screwed it up and had to overlap, but then I liked it so I did it random. :-)
Thanks for checkin this out,
Mel
