Some Alcohol Ink Links

ETA: Sorry gals n guys; these graphics have been removed to make into a stamp image. :O)

Another digital freebie and some alcohol ink links. :0)

This one is colourable, if you like. :0) If you use it, please link to this post; I'd love to see what you make.

Details: This is just drawn with pencil. I've scanned and flipped to create it's mirror image. I like printing it on gesso paper and embossing with clear embossing powder, but you could use any cardstock if you wanted to... acetate, vellum, designer paper... It gives a really fine line and looks kind of silvery with clear ep. Again, I'm not so sure of digital quality. Hope it's useful to you.

[Here are the nitty gritties, in case you need 'em: JPG files; 412 KB, Width: 2275 pixels, Height: 1797 pixels, Horizontal & Vertical resolution: 96 DPI, Bit depth: 24, Colour resolution: uncalibrated.]

Ya know, I bought a few alcohol inks a while back, played with them but never mounted them on a card. Gonna checkout your links and see if I can do something better.

Mel I love your blog, and these very artistic doodles you have done, thank you. I don't know how to download a digital freebie or on what type of paper etc. I think you should turn this background into a background stamp and sell it through one of the companies. :) ok google is goofing up...bluemoonbyniteatyahoodotcom

Hi Mel! Great doodles - it would make a lovely background stamp.

Alcohol inks work great on tumbled tiles. Here is one I did quite a while ago and it still looks good.
