For the Love of Ampersands & free Silhouette cutting files...

You may have noticed that I love ampersands in day-to-day typing

This one that has popped up everywhere is stylized after the Pistilli Roman font 

(as far as I can tell) and it seems to be taking over the world...

So, I figured I'd share some of the "ampersandy" Silhouette files I worked on a while back in May & you can have some fun with them before ampersands are no longer trendy! ;0)

The 'perfectionistic-crazy-lady' inside my head kept telling me that before I could blog these I needed to get actual projects made with them & photographed and all that jazz, but my blades are all kaput so maybe some freebies as-is are just good enough for now...

P.S. The ampersand lines are relatively delicate, so a heavier cardstock might be a good idea. 

I used Neenah solar white & it worked wonderfully. It's fun to layer the frame onto 

different patterned papers as well, or maybe just fill with pattern in the Silhouette software and use as a print & cut?

P.P.S. Health-wise not much has changed, so I'm still on a rather limited blog schedule, but hopefully some mini posts like these will hit the spot. :-)
